Many schools have well-developed career guidance modules included in the Life Orientation program and may also offer additional resources such as Careers Evenings and workshops. Learners, however, are often overwhelmed by career choices and study opportunities and find that they need extra assistance.
Career guidance to learners in a group allows individuals to hear the concerns and problems of others and helps to understand that most teenagers experience the same difficulties. High schools might consider professional assistance for learners in order to assist them to make well-informed career decisions.
Services include:
- Workshops offered to assist learners in making well-researched career decisions.
- Career guidance assessments offered on a group basis.
