“Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life!” We spend around 11 000 hours at work between the ages of 21 and 65 – it follows then that we surely all are deserving of a career that makes us happy!
I am a registered Organisational Psychologist, a mom, a wife and I am also infinitely curious about what drives peoples’ career choices and how this connects to their personal career meaning and career fulfilment or not!
Since 1994 I have worked in the fields of Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Training, Development, as well as Strategy.

In July 2004 I established my own business: People’s Dynamic Development – Cape (www.peoplesdynamic.co.za) consulting to small, medium, and large organizations across South Africa, as well as providing medico-legal services.

As of January 2020, I shifted my professional focus to offering morning-only online career guidance counselling services and workshops via platforms such as Zoom for grade 11 and 12 Learners as well as assisting adults with career transitioning.
I believe in the principle of “paying it forward” and provide pro bono employability and career guidance services and workshops to underprivileged learners.
A little bit more about me
I came to my profession through a deep desire to actualize my purpose in an authentic way.
My own career journey experiences included crucial conversations with significant others at critical moments of career uncertainty and ambiguity. Key ingredients of these crucially timed conversations have not only helped me develop a personal awareness of who I am and how I want to connect my chosen profession to serving society, but also to craft pathways that are aligned with achieving my career dreams, hopes, and aspirations. It is these insights from which I grew and continue to grow my career counselling practice.
How I work
Along with providing guidance on general and specific tertiary programmes/careers, as well as information about the world of work; my career counselling services take a process approach where, during a series of crucial conversations and application of relevant psychometric assessments, we connect the dots between your interests, passions, personality, values, commitments, contributions, strengths, talents and gifts.
My services are not about taking decision/s for you, but are aimed at aiding you in reaching career decision/s through a clear cognitive process.
I have experienced how extraordinary career life can be when you are empowered with self and career knowledge, so that you can be fulfilled by the work that you do!
